Manufacturing Planner, Structures (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite

Salary: $67,000–$108,000 per year, depending on level and experience.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain production schedules, demand forecasts, resource plans, and capacity analyses.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
• Monitor raw material, work-in-progress, and finished-goods inventory while reducing excess stock.
• Track production progress, identify bottlenecks and schedule deviations, and take corrective action to support on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality assurance to ensure manufacturing specifications and standards are met.
• Drive process improvements, lead-time reductions, and alignment across manufacturing, procurement, engineering, and logistics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling, or operations management.
• Working knowledge of database query and visualization tools such as SQL and Tableau.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing quality management, ERP systems, and manufacturing execution systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support late or weekend work when required for critical milestones.
• Must be a U.S. person under applicable export-control rules or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.
