Manufacturing Technician II (Hazardous Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX; based at the Burnet facility

What you will do

• Disassemble, assemble, and troubleshoot canisters and containers in a hazardous chemical environment.
• Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures while identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, quality, and safety teams to meet production and customer requirements.
• Support process improvement, problem solving, and production goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Work a 3-2-2 night-shift schedule from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. after completing training and certification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; mechanical or technical experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accountability, adaptability, and commitment to safety and quality.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office; SAP and PLC experience is a plus.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.
• Ability to lift or move up to 51 lb daily, perform visual inspections, use required PPE, and obtain respirator certification.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment.
• SAP or PLC experience.
