Market Manager (Agriculture Retail)

Location: Must be located within the sales area covering Oregon, Washington, and Idaho; approximately 80% travel with 3–4 overnight stays most weeks

Salary: $70,800–$106,200 base salary annually, plus a target bonus of $10,000

What you will do

• Visit Farm & Ranch retail stores to execute merchandising, planograms, product placement, promotions, and store resets.
• Engage store associates and leaders through product training and selling guidance.
• Assess store performance, product availability, merchandising gaps, and growth opportunities to prioritize territory actions.
• Coordinate new store openings, product launches, training needs, and execution improvements with retail operations leaders.
• Support retail expansion, regional events, promotions, retailer meetings, and increased store coverage.
• Record store visits in Salesforce and collaborate with sales, marketing, and retail operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail, sales, or store-level training.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based territory and make decisions using sales data, store observations, and partner feedback.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, interpersonal, and prioritization skills.
• Comfort with hands-on, customer-facing work and frequent travel.
• Basic digital and analytical skills, including the ability to use Salesforce to record store visits.

Nice to have

• Experience in agriculture, livestock, or the feed industry.
• Familiarity with Farm & Ranch or similar retail environments.
• Understanding of retail merchandising and store resets.
• Experience with digital communication or training tools.
