Software Quality Engineer (Statistical Analysis)

Location: State College, Pennsylvania, United States; local candidates must be within a commutable distance. The position is based at the State College headquarters, with a hybrid work model available for eligible positions.

What you will do

• Work on project teams with an emphasis on user-view testing and statistical verification.
• Participate in feature development through design reviews, test planning, documentation reviews, code reviews, unit testing, and coding tasks.
• Design and execute white-box and black-box test plans for new and enhanced product features.
• Develop, verify, and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, utilities, and testing outputs.
• Build product and testing-tool knowledge while gradually contributing to small development projects.
• Collaborate with team members on testing approaches, application knowledge, and technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, IST, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of internship, co-op, research, or professional experience in software development, research, or commercial software testing.
• Experience with software testing and familiarity with testing frameworks.
• Working knowledge of hirify.global or competing statistical analysis software.
• Strong investigative, logical, methodical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• English proficiency and legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship are required.
