Senior Frontend Software Engineer (React)

Location: Remote - United States

Base salary: $190,800–$267,100 USD per year, plus potential equity and commission depending on the position.

What you will do

• Partner with Product Management, Product Design, Data Science, and client engineers to translate user and business needs into reliable, low-latency solutions.
• Own the software lifecycle for major product initiatives, from technical design and API contracts through development, testing, rollout, and observability.
• Design, build, and evaluate A/B experiments using behavioral, conversion, and retention data.
• Build and maintain scalable GraphQL, REST, and gRPC APIs and distributed services optimized for consumer interfaces.
• Establish engineering practices, improve developer workflows, mentor teammates, and use AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience in frontend-focused languages, including JavaScript, TypeScript, or ES6.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, LIT, or Polymer, along with CSS.
• Experience with or understanding of GraphQL, REST, HTTP, and maintainable API design.
• Hands-on experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems in high-concurrency environments.
• Strong user-centric, analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Must be based in the United States for this remote role.

Nice to have

• Experience with BigQuery, HEX, or Firebase for experimentation and product analytics.
• Experience with gRPC or Thrift.
• Interest in AI-assisted engineering tools.
