Production Associate (Biotechnology)

Location: On-site in Waltham, Massachusetts, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.

Annual salary: $48,000–$79,000 USD, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Manufacture buffers, reagents, kit components, and intermediate solutions according to Manufacturing Batch Records.
• Perform pipetting, aliquoting, labeling, capping, and laboratory equipment and automation operation.
• Maintain accurate batch documentation and follow quality assurance, health and safety, and manufacturing procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, SOP development, and changing production priorities.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials and work with laboratory equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field, or at least two years of hands-on laboratory experience in a manufacturing, research, academic, or regulated laboratory environment.
• Strong laboratory experience, including pipetting, safe chemical handling, and adherence to laboratory safety protocols and detailed work instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry containers weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to work on-site in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Nice to have

• Experience with pipetting and kit component manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft Office applications.
