Operations Manager Housing & Leasing Services

Location: Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia; onsite 100%. Travel between facilities in Alice Springs and the local area is required. The position is contingent upon contract award.

What you will do

• Manage Housing and Leasing Services providing furnished homes, preventive maintenance, property maintenance, and leasing support.
• Oversee continuous availability, appearance, and maintenance of facilities and critical infrastructure in a 24x7 operating environment.
• Lead resource management, strategic planning, budgeting, project execution, and process improvement.
• Integrate cross-functional teams and coordinate service delivery against government requirements and contractual obligations.
• Manage operational risks, allocate funds for mitigation, and maintain project schedules, scope, costs, deliverables, and performance metrics.
• Communicate with government customers and stakeholders while maintaining strong customer service and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

• Degree in Operations Management, Human Resources, Real Estate, or a related business field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least five years of experience in operations management, human resources, real estate, facilities management, or a related field.
• Experience with operations and maintenance services where continuous facility infrastructure availability is essential.
• Strong analytical, planning, budgeting, organizational, people management, and customer service skills.
• Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance or Host Nation NV-1 Clearance required.
• Ability to work onsite in Alice Springs and travel between local facilities required.

Nice to have

• Five years of formal management or team leadership experience.
• Experience with business strategy, long-range business plans, and project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Experience supporting federal or intelligence community programs.
• Experience building and sustaining high-performing integrated teams.
• Knowledge of project management concepts covering schedule, scope, cost, risk, deliverables, and related metrics.
