AI/ML Platform Engineer

Location: Spring, Texas, United States of America

Salary: $147,050–$230,850 USD annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for candidates in the United States.

What you will do

• Build internal platform tools and services, including self-service portals, workbenches, backend APIs, automations, and CI/CD tooling.
• Develop MCP and gateway integrations along with AI-enabled automations and workflows.
• Provision and maintain cloud platform resources across AWS and Azure using Terraform.
• Diagnose deployment, networking, endpoint, and configuration issues in partnership with security and networking specialists.
• Support teams in productionizing models across SageMaker, Bedrock, Azure ML/AI Foundry, and Kubernetes.
• Lead design and architecture reviews, code reviews, onboarding, documentation, and platform improvements.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated competence.
• Typically 7–10 years of experience in programming, machine learning, algorithms, statistical methods, or a related field.
• Experience with Python, software engineering, AI/ML, deep learning, natural language processing, and automation.
• Knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Ability to collaborate across business units, translate ambiguous requirements into practical plans, and review technical designs.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty certification.
• Experience with Apache Spark, C++, Java, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow.
