TL;DR
Team Lead, Compressor Design & Implementation (ETO/DTO compressor engineering): Leading customized compressor design and implementation for La Crosse and Monterrey manufacturing facilities with an accent on cross-functional integration, manufacturability, reliability, and quality. Focus on executing engineered-to-order projects, translating design requirements into factory implementation, and resolving issues across qualification, build, and initial production.
Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States. Monday through Thursday onsite with colleagues; Fridays offer flexibility to choose the work location. The role supports compressor implementation for facilities in La Crosse and Monterrey.
Annual base salary: $75,700.00–$135,834.99.

What you will do
- Lead all engineered-to-order and designed-to-order compressor design activities for the La Crosse and Monterrey factories.
- Own factory input to compressor development requirements and the ETO compressor business case from concept through implementation.
- Coordinate ETO project tasks, testing requirements, deliverables, and implementation with ACC compressor design leaders.
- Integrate requirements across manufacturing, sourcing, product engineering, quality engineering, and application engineering.
- Support issue resolution during design, qualification, build, and initial production.
- Drive improvements in cost, lead time, manufacturability, reliability, quality, and lifecycle performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- At least five years of experience in product development or rotating-assembly technology.
- Experience managing engineering projects or teams and complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, decision-making, and obstacle-removal skills.
- Experience with ETO, DTO, or customized product design.
- Technical oversight across mechanical and motor compressor domains.

- Familiarity with Trane Business Operating System and NPD/ETO processes.
