Supervisor, Product Engineering (HVAC)

Location: Longview, Texas, United States; all tasks are performed on-site in office and manufacturing environments.

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities, priorities, workload, and resources of the Product Engineering Support team.
• Lead technical support and engineering coordination across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, warranty, operations, and engineering functions.
• Maintain accurate product documentation, technical specifications, bills of materials, and engineering-related data.
• Monitor support metrics, analyze trends, and implement process improvements to improve response times and operational effectiveness.
• Coordinate product changes, issue resolution, evaluations, testing activities, supplier interactions, and field support as needed.
• Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate direct reports while supporting performance and development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in engineering, product support, manufacturing, technical operations, or a related environment.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and product support functions.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and engineering documentation.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work on-site in office and manufacturing environments, occasionally lift and move materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, and travel through operational areas as required.

• Experience leading, supervising, coaching, mentoring, or directing technical employees.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations, product engineering, or HVAC-related products.
