What you will do
- Own the development, optimization, and operation of data pipelines that collect, process, and distribute data to products and internal teams.
- Pull, analyze, interpret, and visualize data to support product development and identify new markets.
- Partner with organizational leaders to build and improve team and individual performance metrics.
- Design and develop systems for ingesting and transforming data streams.
- Build and integrate databases, data warehouses, schemas, and scalable data storage solutions.
- Research, architect, build, and test robust, highly available, and massively scalable systems and services.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in data, software, or backend engineering.
- Strong Python skills for building services, data pipelines, and backend systems.
- Experience applying LLMs and prompt engineering to real-world workflows.
- Experience designing, building, and operating service-oriented architectures and APIs.
- Understanding of data modeling, system design, scalable architecture patterns, and ETL workflows, including Airflow or similar tools.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Codex, or Claude Code.
Nice to have
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or Django.
- Familiarity with AWS, Elasticsearch, or other search technologies.
- Exposure to LLM-powered product use cases such as ChatGPT, conversational interfaces, or automation.
- Startup or fast-paced environment experience with high ownership.
