Solutions Engineering Lead, Consumer (AI)

Location: New York, NY or San Francisco, CA

Base salary: $212,000–$265,000 USD per year for eligible full-time roles in San Francisco, New York, and Seattle.

What you will do

• Manage, coach, hire, and develop a team of 3–5 Solutions Engineers.
• Own technical wins for strategic consumer accounts through demos, prototypes, and architecture discussions.
• Build reusable reference architectures, demo environments, evaluation frameworks, and SOW patterns.
• Define GenAI solutions for consumer-hirify.global applications, including agentic customer experiences, personalization, search relevance, trust and safety, and content moderation.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Account Executives, and forward-deployed engineers to scope pilots and support production deployments.
• Translate account patterns into prioritized product and engineering roadmap input.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background and significant customer-facing experience in solutions engineering, solutions architecture, forward-deployed engineering, or technical consulting.
• Hands-on development experience with Python or a similar programming language.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical individual contributors.
• Experience with high-hirify.global consumer systems such as recommendation and personalization, search, content moderation, or conversational products.
• Strong technical presentation skills for product, executive, and engineering audiences.

Nice to have

• Hands-on GenAI, LLM, or applied machine learning experience, especially evaluation and quality measurement at high volume.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, media, gaming, marketplaces, or social platforms.
• Experience building a new vertical, practice, or team from an early stage.
