Sr. Full-Stack Engineer, Product (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the New York City office

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 base annually, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Build and evolve public APIs, embedded SDKs, customer dashboard APIs, and other customer-facing financial products.
• Develop Bill Switch functionality for migrating users’ subscription spending to new accounts.
• Design data models, services, and systems that power the API platform.
• Maintain and improve the Python-based microservice stack, including API contracts and product integrations.
• Build and improve integrations with banking platform partners and contribute to tax product improvements.
• Improve engineering tooling and standards while mentoring engineers and collaborating closely with Product and customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining full-stack applications.
• Strong experience with data modeling, application logic, and API design.
• Expertise with modern backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, Rails, or Gin.
• Expertise with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Experience playing a key implementation role in projects involving multiple teams and engineers.
• Must work three days per week from the New York City office; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
