CNC Machinist - Operator/Programmer (Weekend Night Shift)

What you will do

• Set up, program, edit, and operate CNC lathes, mills, drills, and other numerically controlled machinery.
• Machine components from stainless steel, alloy steel, cast iron, brass, and other materials.
• Maintain quality and tolerances within .0003 inches using micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
• Read work orders, drawings, sketches, routings, and machining instructions.
• Preset and resharpen tools, modify machine parameters, and perform preventative equipment maintenance.
• Complete labor and time reports, follow safety procedures, and keep the work area clean and orderly.

Requirements

• Previous CNC machining experience is required.
• Minimum 3 years of CNC machine tool programming and operating experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent, technical school education, and working machinist knowledge or equivalent.
• Ability to operate at least two CNC machine tools and read and interpret machine drawings.
• Previous manual machining experience and knowledge of numerical control machining.
• Detail-oriented, independent, organized, and able to solve basic technical problems and manage multiple priorities.
