Manufacturing Engineer (CNC)

Salary: USD 85,949–107,436 per year

What you will do

• Provide technical support for manufacturing operations and troubleshoot production issues.
• Act as the liaison between Manufacturing and Engineering while creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Lead and support process improvement, quality control, lean manufacturing, and capital expenditure projects.
• Manage and report KPIs in line with corporate policies and procedures.
• Generate routings, investigate labor variances, and correct manufacturing standards.
• Implement process changes and productivity improvements involving equipment, manufacturing methods, and workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of engineered-to-CNC manufacturing experience, including machining, CNC lathes, and mills.
• Experience in ISO-controlled, low-volume/high-mix manufacturing environments and on a machine shop floor.
• Experience with quality variance requests, cost reduction, quality improvement, throughput improvement, project management, and process improvement.
• Ability to use Solid Edge and experience with Haas, Mazak, and associated tooling.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHA 18001 management systems.
