Senior Analyst - Financial Information (Renewable Energy)

Location: Longueuil, Quebec, Canada; hybrid work model with a headquarters-based position

What you will do

• Participate in the quarterly and annual preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation for multiple entities across countries and currencies.
• Prepare analyses and reconciliations for assigned financial statement line items.
• Draft quarterly and annual notes to the consolidated financial statements.
• Prepare financial statements for various entities and contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses.
• Provide accounting support to other departments and contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a recognized CPA designation.
• Experience in a Big Four accounting firm or a public company with multiple subsidiaries.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; knowledge of US GAAP and experience with multiple currencies are advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• French and English bilingualism, both spoken and written, is required.
