Quality Assurance Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing (SaaS)

Location: Remote from Brazil, Mexico, or Argentina; availability during U.S. business hours is required, with flexibility for releases and sprint deadlines.

hirify.global is hiring for a client seeking quality assurance expertise for SaaS software products.

What you will do

• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, scenarios, acceptance criteria, and regression suites.
• Perform manual functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, cross-browser, and cross-device testing.
• Build and maintain automated tests with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright and integrate them into CI/CD workflows.
• Test APIs, integrations, data integrity, error handling, and performance using tools such as Postman, Apache JMeter, or Locust.
• Track defects from discovery through resolution, reproduce issues, validate fixes, and communicate release risks.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering during sprint planning, development, releases, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional QA or software testing experience.
• Strong hands-on manual testing experience covering functional, regression, defect documentation, and release validation activities.
• Experience with Jira or similar defect-tracking tools and familiarity with TestRail or Zephyr.
• Familiarity with at least one automation framework: Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile development, QA methodologies, and defect lifecycle management.
• Clear written and verbal English communication and availability during U.S. business hours are required.

Nice to have

• Experience testing SaaS or enterprise software products.
• API testing with Postman or RestAssured.
• CI/CD test integration, performance testing, security testing, or work in compliance-heavy environments.
• Familiarity with Git and experience improving automation or regression coverage.
