Director, Talent Acquisition (Consumer Tech)

Location: New York, New York; hybrid workplace

Salary: $197,000–$236,500 per year, with geographic adjustment possible for an approved work location outside New York City.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop Talent Acquisition leaders and senior individual contributors.
• Set enterprise talent acquisition strategy, workforce plans, capacity plans, and headcount forecasts in partnership with executive, Finance, and People leadership.
• Build scalable recruiting standards, operating models, governance, and processes from intake and sourcing through assessment, offer, and close.
• Guide complex and business-critical searches while advising executives on talent markets, organizational design, and hiring tradeoffs.
• Own TA forecasting, scenario planning, executive reporting, success metrics, and market intelligence.
• Set direction for TA technology, strengthen employer branding, and lead change management across teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, including enterprise or multifunctional scope.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, including leading leaders or managing managers.
• Experience partnering strategically with executive leadership and making data-driven workforce decisions.
• Proven success building scalable TA organizations and improving operational excellence.
• Deep understanding of competitive talent markets, especially in consumer technology.
• Strong executive presence, judgment, emotional intelligence, communication skills, and ability to navigate ambiguity.
