Senior Strategic Finance Associate - G&A (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City, United States

Salary: $160,500–$217,500 USD total target cash compensation annually, plus potential equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end financial planning process for G&A functions, from initial brief through delivery.
• Define 6–12 month financial strategies and translate business assumptions into financial outcomes and leading indicators.
• Build investment business cases with clear assumptions, risk quantification, and analysis of second-order effects.
• Design and improve planning processes, tooling, data definitions, and financial reporting quality.
• Lead cross-functional analyses, establish milestones and ownership, and resolve forecast disagreements.
• Partner with budget owners to improve data quality, metric consistency, and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of FP&A or Strategic Finance experience, ideally focused on G&A in a high-growth SaaS company.
• Experience owning a planning domain end-to-end and designing planning processes and frameworks.
• Expert financial modeling skills, including SaaS unit economics, driver-based forecasting, three-statement modeling, and scenario or sensitivity analysis.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with BI tools, FP&A platforms, ERP systems, and upstream data-quality improvements.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial analysis to executive audiences.
• BS/BA in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; hybrid work requires being located in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City.

Nice to have

• Experience with Pigment, Anaplan, or a similar planning tool, ideally Pigment.
• MBA or CFA.
