What you will do

• Write and refine scripts to process and analyze large datasets.
• Conceive, implement, and test statistical models.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of analytical tools.
• Troubleshoot research problems with mentor support and ensure data quality control.
• Participate in lab meetings, team discussions, broader research goals, and potentially publications.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate senior with expected graduation in Summer 2027 or earlier.
• Major in computational biology, mathematics, statistics, physics, bioinformatics, computer science, or a similar field.
• At least one year of independent undergraduate research experience outside coursework.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python or R.
• Ability to commit to at least two years with the hirify.global.
• At least 24 months of OPT is recommended for candidates using Optional Practical Training.
