Alternative Private Operations Analyst (Private Markets)

What you will do

• Support daily post-close operational activities across private-market products.
• Assist with transaction processing, position maintenance, data updates, and lifecycle-event workflows.
• Perform reconciliations, investigate exceptions, and drive open items to resolution through follow-up and escalation.
• Support valuation, cash, and reporting processes by maintaining complete, accurate, and controlled operational inputs.
• Coordinate with Operations, Portfolio Management, Fund Accounting, and other internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvement, workflow standardization, automation, and team-building initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with a strong academic record preferred.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, operations, fund administration, or financial services preferred.
• Strong Excel, data management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of financial products, operational processes, reconciliations, and controls is helpful.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, ownership, and ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Clear communication skills and a strong risk-and-control mindset, including procedure adherence, documentation, and escalation.

Nice to have

• Interest in private markets, asset management operations, and front-to-back transaction lifecycle processes.
• Experience with workflow tools and evolving operating processes.
