Senior Alternative Investments Operations Associate

Location: Hybrid role in Saint Petersburg, Florida, United States

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operational support for alternative investment offerings sourced through the Global Equities and Investment Banking channel.
• Coordinate onboarding and launches of new offerings with internal business areas and third-party partners.
• Process and oversee subscriptions, suitability reviews, valuations, commissions, redemptions, reconciliations, and related transactions.
• Resolve complex operational issues and inquiries from financial advisors, fund sponsors, senior leadership, and internal partners.
• Improve workflows, reporting, automation, controls, and risk mitigation in partnership with technology teams.
• Develop procedures and training materials, lead initiatives, and mentor operations associates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of relevant experience in alternative investments, brokerage operations, fund administration, custody, or financial services operations.
• Experience leading processes, projects, product implementations, or team-level initiatives.
• Knowledge of alternative investment structures, partnership accounting, valuation, NAV, securities regulations, and operational controls.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, reporting tools, databases, and operational technology.
• SIE certification required unless an exemption or grandfathering provision applies; Series 7 or Series 99 and CAIA are preferred.

Nice to have

• Series 7 or Series 99 registration, where applicable.
• CAIA certification.
• Experience with Tableau, Qlik, artificial intelligence, and automation tools.
