Diesel Technician Apprentice (Paid Training)

Location: Permanent shop assignment in Clinton, New Jersey, USA; required nine-week in-person training in Dallas, Texas, beginning 19 October 2026.

What you will do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment.
• Inspect and develop working knowledge of electrical, air conditioning, heating, air, brake, hydraulic, and wheel-end systems.
• Complete hands-on shop work, including basic tire work and truck preventive maintenance.
• Apply technical education through 22 months of on-the-job training with supervision from fleet maintenance leadership.
• Progress through apprenticeship milestones toward certification and potential advancement to Level C Technician.

Requirements

• Commitment to completing the full two-year apprenticeship program.
• Logical problem-solving ability and interest in engineering, vehicles, and technology.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including some nights, weekends, or holidays.
• Commitment to safety, ethics, respect, and company values.
• Willingness to travel to and live in Dallas, Texas, for nine weeks of in-person training.
