What you will do

• Provide nursing care for patients aged 65 and older with complex psychiatric and medical needs.
• Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families.
• Work with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support patient outcomes.
• Involve patients and families in goal setting and care planning, and communicate plans across shifts and care settings.
• Use evidence-based practice and national or specialty standards to guide care and identify improvements.
• Apply clinical decision-making and critical-thinking skills in daily practice.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ASN or BSN; BSN preferred.
• Current New Hampshire, compact, or multistate Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation and maintain it throughout employment.
• Full-time overnight schedule: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., every other weekend, 36 hours per week.
