Director of Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Location: Must be based in Santa Clara, CA (On-site)

Salary: $275,000 – $295,000

What you will do

• Own the identity governance strategy, operating model, and control standards, including access certification and segregation-of-duties programs.
• Develop and execute the roadmap for SOX readiness to ensure successful audit performance.
• Architect and deploy a comprehensive IAM platform to automate access orchestration, manage privileged access, and establish guardrails for enterprise AI.
• Chair the IT architecture review board and manage public-cloud master accounts, focusing on cost optimization and least-privilege access.
• Lead identity governance for M&A activities and modernize platforms to improve scalability and data integrity.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT with 5+ years in IAM leadership roles (Manager, Director, or higher).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Deep expertise in enterprise IAM strategy, including capital and operating budget management.
• Proven track record of building SOX compliance readiness programs.
• Experience managing hybrid environments spanning on-premises/colocation and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
