Operations Program Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid in Tempe, Arizona, with onsite work required three days per week; travel up to 15%.

Salary: $120,500–$190,000 annually. For specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area, the range is $149,500–$224,500 annually.

What you will do

• Own the product lifecycle from initial development through mass production.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain readiness.
• Influence product design for manufacturability, testability, cost, and scalability.
• Drive program execution across schedule, quality, cost, and technical trade-offs.
• Develop manufacturing test strategies and improve processes and hardware for scalable new product introductions.
• Report program status, risks, and recovery plans to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in program management, product operations, engineering, or a combination of these areas.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial, or another engineering discipline.
• Experience taking complex technical products from development into mass production.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Direct contract manufacturing experience.
• US citizenship, ability to obtain a United States Top Secret Clearance, and onsite availability in Tempe three days per week are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering or an MBA.
• Experience managing contract manufacturers.
• Knowledge of supply chain operations, quality systems, and product lifecycle management.
• Prior leadership experience or an active security clearance.
