Dev Ops Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in Chantilly, VA; the posting header also lists Moorpark, CA. U.S. person status is required for ITAR/EAR-controlled information, and some positions may require current U.S. citizenship.

What you will do

• Develop and modify custom applications and scripts across multiple platforms.
• Maintain custom software applications, services, and code bases.
• Implement improvements to existing software solutions and system capabilities.
• Maintain versatile and consistent system architecture across platforms.
• Contribute to configuration documentation, capability improvements, build roadmaps, and software updates.
• Communicate with internal teams, program managers, customers, mission partners, and vendors.

Requirements

• On-site work in Chantilly, Virginia.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• U.S. person status for ITAR/EAR compliance; current U.S. citizenship may be required for some contracts.
• At least 3 years of experience developing applications and services with Rust and/or Python.
• Experience with Linux-based servers and appliances, Ansible automation, Docker containers, and maintaining custom application code bases.
• Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, teamwork, and agile development skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust frameworks such as Actix, Rocket, or Warp, and WebAssembly for client-side Rust.
• Knowledge of VMware, Ubuntu Server, Windows Server, Samba, Firejail, GitHub or GitLab, Squid, Graylog, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with PowerShell automation, web application development, browser plugins, RESTful APIs, microservices, and AI model integration.
• Security+, ITIL v3 Foundation, Certified System Administrator, CEH, or web application penetration testing certification.
