Pharmacist (Part-Time)

Location: Onsite across treatment centers in Johnston, Middletown, Pawtucket, Providence, and Westerly, Rhode Island, USA

Salary: $65–$70 per hour, based on experience

What you will do

• Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure medications are prepared, handled, documented, and distributed accurately.
• Maintain medication records, complete monthly inventory reconciliations, and oversee daily pharmacy transactions.
• Monitor inventory, investigate discrepancies, and report issues in line with company policies, DEA regulations, and pharmacy best practices.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians preparing pre-dispensed methadone doses and take-home medications.
• Participate in professional development, ongoing training, and required education.

Requirements

• Active PharmD licensure in the state of Rhode Island.
• Effective communication skills for phone and in-person interactions.
• Ability to read correspondence and computer screens.
• Familiarity with medical office environments and diverse patient populations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting involving prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and frequent computer use.
