ATR - Aeronautical Systems Safety Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Toulouse Area, France; remote working is available.

What you will do

• Develop and update safety analyses for aircraft systems in the Engineering Directorate.
• Define safety requirements for equipment and system suppliers.
• Review and approve project deliverables and participate in project review meetings.
• Maintain existing safety documentation.
• Collaborate with system designers, suppliers, production, quality, purchasing, and other stakeholders in a multicultural environment.

Requirements

• Significant experience with aeronautical systems and system safety analysis.
• Strong knowledge of JAR/FAR/CS 25, CS E, CS P, and development standards such as DO and ARP.
• In-depth knowledge of CS/AMC 25.1309, ARP 4754(A), and ARP 4761.
• Experience with FHA, PSSA, SSA, fault trees, dependence diagrams, common-cause analyses, FMEA/FMES, and equipment reliability calculations.
• Knowledge of at least one fault-tree or dependence-diagram analysis tool; SARAA knowledge is advantageous.
• Fluent English and French required; Italian is a plus. Strong communication skills, autonomy, and initiative are expected.
