Avionics Systems Engineer (Military Derivatives)

What you will do

• Design and develop avionics systems for military derivative aircraft and operational concepts.
• Define requirements documents and technical specifications.
• Prepare test procedures, perform development tests, monitor formal tests, and analyze test results and reports.
• Contribute to program milestones, reviews, and the overall design process.
• Support system qualification and certification activities.
• Manage interfaces between systems and collaborate with stakeholders across functions and countries.

Requirements

• Master's degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, or a comparable discipline.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a related field.
• Professional experience with airborne avionics systems and equipment or system-level development.
• Knowledge of aeronautical regulations and standards, including ARP4754, DO-178, DO-254, and DO-160.
• Negotiation-level English and eligibility for the required security clearance.
• Analytical thinking, independent working style, communication skills, and the ability to work with international and multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Background in aircraft avionics, software test engineering, or requirements-based engineering.
