Aircraft Systems Engineer (Multisystems) (d/f/m) (IMA)

What you will do

• Develop aircraft system architectures covering safety, human factors, security, performance, specification, traceability, integration, verification, validation, and certification.
• Define system development, integration, verification, and certification plans.
• Create end-to-end architecture documentation with user systems using Shared Resources and Integrated Modular Avionics.
• Integrate user-system needs into shared computing resources and aircraft data networks.
• Lead the aircraft system development lifecycle from concept definition through validation and certification.
• Support safety assessments for shared computing and network resources.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of aircraft systems engineering experience across the full development lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft certification, system safety, reliability, ARP4754 processes, and DO-297 adaptation for Integrated Modular Avionics.
• Experience with aircraft system design, architecture, Model-Based Systems Engineering, and L1/L2/L3 verification and validation.
• Experience defining and executing end-to-end operational test scenarios and multisystem integration test rigs.
• Negotiation-level English is required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with airborne software or hardware development under DO-178C or DO-254.
• Experience with virtual engineering or digital twins.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and technical risk management.
