Localization Product Strategist (Fixed-Term Contract)

Salary: $140,000–$205,000 USD annually plus a 15% bonus target

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end localization of complex products from inception through launch, managing delivery, cost, and vendor execution.
• Advise product teams on localization strategy, timelines, and global cultural resonance.
• Resolve complex localization issues and build scalable processes that reduce international business risk.
• Develop business cases for language expansion and present recommendations to executives.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and collaborate with Operations and Engineering on AI integration and automated scaling tools.
• Manage localization budgets, annual planning, and long-term resource advocacy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in technical project management or a customer-facing role.
• Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and presenting business cases to executives.
• Strong investigative, problem-solving, and budget management skills.
• Ability to work in Boulder, Colorado, United States.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Computational Linguistics or Linguistics, or professional-level multilingual proficiency.
• Experience in management consulting, technical sales, or partner management.
• Experience with machine translation, LLMs, cultural nuance, technical automation, and scalable localization processes.
