Assistant Sustainability Technologist

Location: Onsite at hirify.global Head Office, The Barn, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, UK. Full-time hours are typically 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship; sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Record, update, maintain, and report sustainability-related data, including CSR metrics, supplier audits, ESG performance, and environmental KPIs.
• Liaise with NEXT teams, attend group sustainability meetings, and communicate updates to wider teams.
• Gather supplier, factory, and internal documentation for compliance audits and track certifications and renewal dates.
• Support EPR submissions, regulatory reporting, and monitoring of waste management, recycling, and product end-of-life data.
• Monitor data accuracy, identify missing or inconsistent information, and ensure records follow company procedures and legal requirements.
• Provide administrative support for sustainability projects and prepare progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Previous experience in administration or data entry, ideally in compliance, sustainability, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and database systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and work at pace.
• Proactive and methodical approach to work, with an interest in sustainability, CSR, and ethical manufacturing.
• Valid UK right to work without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CSR principles, supply chain compliance, or EPR legislation.
