General Manager EF (Automotive)

Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada; onsite facility role

Salary: $112,634–$126,766 annually

What you will do

• Plan, organize, lead, and control the day-to-day operations of the facility.
• Recruit, train, develop, retain, and manage a diverse, high-performing team.
• Oversee office and yard processes, sub-hauler resources, equipment, safety, and operational compliance.
• Build relationships with buyers, sellers, employees, and other internal customers.
• Track performance metrics, manage the facility profit and loss statement, increase revenue, and reduce costs.
• Support continuous improvement, change initiatives, customer satisfaction, and local or non-local CAT events.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of management experience; military or other relevant experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in operational excellence, execution of corporate goals, and managing change.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, critical-thinking, decision-making, listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, multitask, and maintain a sense of urgency.
• Valid driver's license.
• Travel may be required.
