Salary: $11,397.00–$17,081.58 CAD monthly

What you will do

  • Lead the long-term vision, strategic plan, and business development strategy for hirify.global Robson Square.
  • Manage the facility as a self-funding unit, including budgeting, forecasting, financial tracking, and expansion of revenue sources.
  • Oversee facility operations, client services, educational programming, events, infrastructure, security, and service quality.
  • Build relationships with academic units, tenants, community partners, clients, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead facilities planning, development, and expansion projects while maintaining a high-quality learning environment.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop management and unionized staff and establish operational performance standards.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and at least ten years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in business management, hospitality, event planning, or a related leadership role.
  • Experience with budget management, business analysis, forecasting, reporting, and project management.
  • Strong written and oral communication, relationship management, negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complexity and risk, motivate employees, and make principled decisions.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, respectful leadership, and effective customer service.

Nice to have

  • Graduate degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Degree or certificate in business, event management, or project management.
  • Experience working in an academic setting.
