Staff Security Engineer, Secure Digital Asset Operations (Web3)

Annual base salary: $212,000–$265,000 USD

What you will do

• Design, implement, document, and manage processes for cataloguing and securing the handling and storage of digital assets.
• Lead security risk assessments of digital asset safeguards and implement improvements with Information Security, Finance, Product, and Engineering partners.
• Measure, monitor, and communicate digital asset security posture to key stakeholders.
• Educate individuals and teams on protecting hirify.global and personal digital assets.
• Advise on digital asset security methodologies, tooling decisions, and vendor integrations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience in information security and securing digital assets.
• Demonstrated knowledge of crypto, blockchain, Web3, and smart contracts.
• Strong knowledge of key management solutions, cryptography, and secure cryptographic key creation, distribution, storage, and usage.
• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining software, hardware, MPC, and/or multisignature wallets, as well as secure offline laptop solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex security and compliance topics clearly, document functional requirements, and work effectively with junior and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and operate effectively in ambiguous and complex environments.
