Application Support Engineer (SQL/C#/Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Candidates must be based in Ciudad Juárez or able to work onsite at the location.

What you will do

• Provide onsite technical and operational support for business-critical applications in a manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform initial triage, and manage incidents, service requests, and technical escalations.
• Monitor application performance, availability, reliability, SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, third-party vendors, clients, and technical stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
• Support root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, change management, and production releases.
• Maintain technical documentation and identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Availability to work onsite in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.
• 5+ years of experience in application support, production support, or a similar technical role.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL and C# or VB.NET.
• 2+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Borland Delphi, Unix/Linux, and Java.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications, preferably in manufacturing, and working with production environments, incident management, change management, and releases.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and stakeholder interaction skills.
