FP&A Lead (Fintech)

What you will do

• Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, and operating teams to translate financial plans into owned targets and business decisions.
• Build and own monthly executive and board reporting covering the P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, forecasts, and variance commentary.
• Define operating KPI standards and maintain a single source of truth for business metrics.
• Own annual planning, monthly and quarterly forecasting, headcount planning, and the driver-based operating model.
• Lead unit economics and cohort analysis, selecting the data cuts that answer business questions.
• Prepare equity raise materials, capital structure scenarios, portfolio and credit performance analysis, and diligence responses.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of FP&A or strategic finance experience, including leadership of planning and reporting functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Experience building financial processes in environments where little previously existed.
• Strong command of unit economics, cohort analysis, financial modeling, and Excel.
• AI-first approach to workflows, data analysis, reporting production, and automation.
• SQL fluency and comfort working directly in a data warehouse.

Nice to have

• Experience at a 200–800 person company during rapid growth.
• Fintech, lending, or payments experience.
• Experience supporting a Series C or later raise, debt facility, or bank partnership.
• Prior people management experience.
