Project Leader, R&D Project Management (Medical Devices)

Location: Skaneateles, New York, United States; onsite role

Salary: $88,000–$121,000 annually, with potential discretionary bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Support cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams delivering new product development and sustaining engineering projects.
• Coordinate international product launches and regional product updates with distributed teams and external partners.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, deliverables, milestones, action items, risks, and dependencies.
• Participate in Agile Scrum activities, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare project status updates and support risk, issue, change, quality, cost, and schedule management.
• Assist with implementing approved design changes into production while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience in project coordination, engineering, operations, or technical product development roles.
• Foundational knowledge of project management practices, including scheduling, task coordination, risk tracking, and documentation.
• Working knowledge of Agile or traditional project management methodologies and collaboration with Scrum-based teams.
• Ability to work with global cross-functional teams and external partners in a regulated product development environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship and sponsorship takeover are not available.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting international product launches or market expansion initiatives.
• Familiarity with global regulatory submission and approval processes.
• Agile certification such as CSM or PSM, or project management certification such as PMP or CAPM.
