Senior Director, Identity & Access Management

What you will do

• Own the IAM strategy across the hirify.global platform ecosystem, including Nexus, Kairos, hirify.global.ai, and Cloud Services.
• Lead Authentication and Authorization platforms covering federation, SSO, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, identity lifecycle, RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, and policy enforcement.
• Set architecture governance and ensure security, scalability, compliance, availability, disaster recovery, and operational excellence.
• Lead two engineering managers and their teams, owning hiring, performance management, career development, succession planning, and organizational design.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Security, Compliance, Cloud Operations, and Customer Services to align IAM investment with the platform roadmap.
• Own budget, headcount planning, vendor relationships, technology selection, and build-versus-buy decisions for IAM capabilities.

Requirements

• Software engineering background with strong distributed-systems experience and accountability for engineering and platform outcomes.
• Proven experience leading through engineering managers and building high-performing platform engineering organizations.
• Deep expertise in identity and access management, authentication, authorization, security architecture, threat modeling, and secure design.
• Experience building and operating enterprise-scale SaaS or cloud platforms and serving other engineering teams as customers.
• Working knowledge of enterprise compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR.
• Experience leading globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, SAML, SCIM, identity governance, and administration solutions.
• Experience with policy engines and ABAC/ReBAC frameworks.
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security experience.
