Warehouse Specialist (Logistics)

Location: Paducah, Kentucky, USA; on-site warehouse work with some travel, weekend work, overtime, and after-hours call-outs as needed.

What you will do

• Perform routine warehouse operations under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager.
• Receive, inspect, store, stage, pack, label, and load materials for shipment.
• Review vessel traffic, orders, shipping volumes, navigation disruptions, and carrier options to develop daily shipping strategies.
• Coordinate vessel supply needs with Engineering and support distribution activities for active vessels and locations.
• Process returns, identify damaged or discrepant shipments, and arrange vendor credits or compliant disposal.
• Maintain inventory records, conduct cycle counts, fulfill purchase-order and inventory pick requests, and keep work areas safe and organized.

Requirements

• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and applicable company and governmental regulations.
• Training in safe forklift operation.
• Understanding of river traffic patterns and location points.
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal customers.
• Ability to walk up and down steep grades, lift and carry up to 75 lbs., work in extreme weather, and stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods.
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC card.
