Talent Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build a 0-to-1 talent engineering function centered on automation, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
• Integrate Workday, Greenhouse, Gem, and BrightHire into a governed talent data layer.
• Develop agentic solutions for pipeline visibility, workflow bottlenecks, candidate rediscovery, interview quality, offer risk, and recruiter capacity.
• Build conversational tools that allow talent leaders and hiring managers to self-serve recruiting data.
• Design experiments for outbound sourcing and offer effectiveness, monitoring response, interest, and acceptance rates.
• Partner with People Analytics, HRIS, IT, and the central AI development team on governance, architecture, and build-versus-buy decisions.

Requirements

• Production experience integrating external systems through APIs, OAuth, webhooks, rate-limit handling, and error management.
• Strong scripting or backend skills in Python or TypeScript/Node.
• Proficiency with SQL and querying data across multiple systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and tool or function-calling patterns.
• Understanding of permissions and access-control design.
• Experience designing and analyzing structured A/B or multivariate experiments, plus the ability to work effectively in an ambiguous 0-to-1 environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Background in analytics engineering, automation engineering, or solutions engineering.
• Familiarity with Greenhouse, Workday, Gem, BrightHire, or similar recruiting systems.
• Recruiting or Talent Acquisition experience.
