Java Back-End Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement secure and efficient backend APIs.
• Migrate and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Automate backend deployments and infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization for cost-effectiveness and scalability.
• Implement cloud security measures, troubleshoot complex backend issues, and apply OWASP best practices.
• Integrate AI tools such as Claude and Codex into development, code review, and delivery workflows.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of Java and the JVM ecosystem.
• Strong experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring AI, or Ktor, plus Gradle or Maven.
• Professional experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, relational and document databases, and messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub, SNS, or SQS.
• Understanding of object-oriented principles, design patterns, test-driven development, CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code, and OWASP security practices.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, collaboration, and advanced AI-tool validation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin, Quarkus, or GraalVM.
