Senior Product Designer

Location: Worldwide; fully remote, async, and work from anywhere

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year, regardless of location; equity included

What you will do

• Own booking flows, scheduling primitives, and team and enterprise product surfaces from concept through working prototype.
• Build and test interactive prototypes using Figma, Claude Code, Cursor, v0, or the fastest suitable tool.
• Deliver implementation-ready prototypes with correct semantics, real states, keyboard paths, and reusable primitives.
• Improve the coss ui design system by refining primitives, closing gaps, and contributing new components.
• Partner with Design Engineering to evaluate data shape, state boundaries, component architecture, accessibility, motion, and responsive behavior.
• Define hypotheses and success measures, follow outcomes through implementation, document decisions, and collaborate openly with product and engineering.

Requirements

• Senior-level product design experience owning complex, ambiguous product areas through launch and iteration.
• Exceptional visual and interaction craft with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to independently build interactive prototypes in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience with web standards, platform primitives, design systems, and headless primitive composition such as Base UI or Radix.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility, including WCAG, ARIA, assistive technology, keyboard navigation, focus management, contrast, and motion preferences.
• Understanding of APIs, data models, state architecture, evidence-based product decisions, written communication, and async collaboration.

Nice to have

• Startup or remote work experience and an engineering background.
• Experience shipping AI or agent-facing experiences.
• Open-source contributions or experience maintaining a public component library.
• Experience designing for developers, APIs, SDKs, scheduling, calendaring, time zones, or recurrence rules.
• Strong motion and interaction design skills.
