TL;DR
Operational Excellence Manager for Last Mile (E-commerce/Logistics): Designing and delivering continuous improvement roadmaps for last mile operations with an accent on process standardization, routing, loading, delivery efficiency, and on-time performance. Focus on identifying operational bottlenecks, building and scaling data-driven solutions across sites, and embedding best practices through stakeholder leadership and coaching.
Location: Prague, Czech Republic; hybrid with three days in the office and two days working from a home office, plus travel across sites 2–3 days per week

What you will do
- Own and deliver a 3–6 month continuous improvement roadmap for last mile operations.
- Lead group-wide initiatives from problem definition and business case development through pilots, impact measurement, and rollout across sites.
- Improve loading, routing, and delivery operations by driving adoption of standards and best practices.
- Partner with central development, performance management, and local site teams to coordinate projects and operational performance.
- Identify root causes in operational data and real-world processes, then convert effective solutions into standardized practices.
- Document processes using value stream mapping and process maps.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of operational experience owning projects or programs in retail last mile operations.
- Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical ability to define metrics, interpret data, and distinguish causation from correlation.
- Project management experience.
- Willingness to travel across sites 2–3 days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience in e-commerce, grocery, or same-day delivery.
- Six Sigma and/or project management certification.
