Federal Regulatory Analyst (Chemical Compliance)

What you will do

• Compile, review, summarize, and report on complex chemical and regulatory data sets.
• Ensure accurate chemical and component setup and compliant filing of regulatory reports for product launches and product maintenance.
• Contribute to impact assessments for emerging regulations and help develop company positions.
• Review and approve chemicals and chemical components under applicable laws and regulations.
• Communicate regulatory requirements, timeline impacts, and project risks to internal teams.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and federal and state regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, data science, engineering, toxicology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in chemical compliance or data reporting.
• Experience with data integrity, project management, and process improvement.
• Working knowledge of TSCA, Prop 65, GHS, and related regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret regulations and communicate complex regulatory topics to varied audiences.
• Ability to work onsite in Marysville, Ohio.

Nice to have

• Experience with lawn and garden pesticides, fertilizers, or fertilizer/pesticide combination products.
• Awareness of FIFRA, fertilizer registration, VOC, and Extended Producer Responsibility regulations.
