Product Compliance Regulatory Manager (Chemical Compliance)

Location: Hybrid position with preference for candidates within reasonable commuting distance of hirify.global offices in Downers Grove, Illinois; Webster, Texas; Norcross, Georgia; Dublin, Ohio; Commerce, California; or Morrisville, Pennsylvania, US.

Salary: USD $121,340–$182,010 per year, plus incentive pay.

What you will do

• Own chemical regulatory programs focused on TSCA, EPA requirements, and U.S. chemical regulations.
• Ensure products can be purchased, transported, sold, and used in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical business guidance, processes, and controls.
• Integrate regulatory controls and data requirements into SAP S/4HANA and related systems.
• Identify and mitigate regulatory risks, manage corrective actions, and maintain compliance documentation.
• Lead or support regulatory inquiries, audits, Notices of Violation, enforcement actions, and agency follow-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in chemical product regulation, regulatory compliance, chemical manufacturing or distribution, consulting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of TSCA, EPA regulations, and U.S. chemical regulatory requirements.
• Experience interpreting regulations and converting them into business processes and compliance controls.
• Experience with regulatory agencies, audits, enforcement matters, or complex compliance issues.
• Experience collaborating with Legal, IT, Commercial, Sales, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders.

Nice to have

• SAP S/4HANA experience involving regulatory data or process controls.
• Experience working with the EPA, DEA, external consultants, or legal partners.
