Sr. Analyst, Business Development – Strategy and Annual Business Cycle

Location: Chicago, IL — Chicago/Aon Center

Salary: $89,800–$112,200 annual base salary, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Support the planning, coordination, and governance of Annual Business Cycle and One/Three-Year Plan processes.
• Manage planning timelines, templates, deliverables, and business review materials.
• Prepare analyses, presentations, and scorecards to support leadership decision-making.
• Connect Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to align commercial and operational plans.
• Translate innovation, distribution, pricing, and promotion strategies into accurate planning inputs.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial planning, marketing or sales strategy, category or business planning, IBP, S&OP, or related commercial roles.
• Commercial acumen with experience working with revenue, volume, margin, investment, and demand data.
• Strong project management, organization, analytical, problem-solving, communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and AI platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams, influence senior leaders without direct authority, and operate effectively amid ambiguity and change.

Nice to have

• Experience with formal business planning cycles such as IBP, S&OP, AOP, or One-Year Plans.
• Familiarity with planning or ERP systems such as SAP and BI tools such as Power BI.
