Cost Accountant (EOR)

Location: Remote, Philippines; working hours aligned with CET (Central European Time)

What you will do

• Review payroll data and verify salaries, payroll costs, and related accounting records.
• Prepare and issue client invoices based on payroll and service costs, then track collections.
• Review supplier invoices and process vendor payments on schedule.
• Maintain cost accounts and Accounts Payable records.
• Reconcile payroll costs, intercompany transactions, and financial data across entities and currencies.
• Support month-end and year-end close, tax reporting, audits, and improvements to EOR accounting workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or audit, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
• CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent accounting certification.
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency accounting in a group of companies.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and detail-oriented skills.
• Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.
• Advanced MS Office proficiency, especially Excel, and ability to work CET-aligned hours.

Nice to have

• 1+ year of experience in global payroll processing or controlling.
• Experience with EOR or PEO accounting.
