Senior Workday Integrations Product Engineer (Workday)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support integrations between Workday and enterprise applications.
• Use Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, PECI, WECI, Boomi, and cloud services.
• Define scalable, secure, maintainable integration patterns, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Establish reusable architecture patterns, engineering standards, best practices, and technical design reviews.
• Build observability, monitoring, alerting, automated recovery, and self-healing error handling into integrations.
• Troubleshoot production issues, improve performance, modernize legacy workflows, and collaborate with product, HR, engineering, and vendor teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience developing, supporting, and troubleshooting complex Workday integrations in a large global enterprise.
• Experience with Workday Studio, PECI, WECI, Workday Extend or broader Workday platform capabilities, and enterprise integration platforms such as Boomi.
• Deep proficiency with Workday Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, XML/XSLT, data transformation, event-driven integration, and integration architecture.
• Understanding of security, data privacy, data integrity, Agile, and DevOps delivery practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP or Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, operational tooling, ServiceNow, legacy integration modernization, technical debt reduction, or Power BI.
